Canon Cinema EOS Launch →

Every filmmaker has a story to tell. But with the practical realities of production and cost, few get to tell it as they see it in their mind's eye. Canon introduced the Cinema EOS system to change all that and we got to launch it with great fanfare:

We had four well-known directors quietly create short films with the Cinema EOS. We then premiered them at what was both the announcement and launch event. The work demonstrated the opportunity for filmmakers to share their stories in more effective, affordable ways, while staying true to their vision. So they could truly "Leave no story untold" - which was our tagline and platform.

Martin Scorsese gave his keynote using it as his theme. It was uber cool. Or so I'm told. It seems the writer's invite was lost in the mail.

Taglines are one of my favorite pieces of branding to work on. And this tagline is definitely one of my favorites.

Poster Campaign

In the spirit of 'Leave No Story Untold' we created a poster campaign highlighting the biggest reasons great stories are indeed left untold (or aren't told the way they are envisioned). Of course, the Cinema EOS solves for all of it. The posters played off of the movies created for the launch.
